Equity greenhouse gas footprint

AGL equity greenhouse gas footprint data is largely comprised of emissions from AGL's operated facilities, which decreased in FY22 largely due to decreased electricity generation activity at Loy Yang A Power Station and Torrens Island Power Station, partly offset by increased output from Bayswater and Liddell power stations.

Includes Scope 1 and Scope 2 greenhouse gas emissions from assets that AGL owns fully or in part (by percentage ownership).
Greenhouse gas emissions are rounded up to the nearest 10 ktCO₂e.
AGL Energy sold its interest in the National Assets portfolio during FY19.
Emissions for minor facilities in which AGL has an equity stake but does not have operational control over have been estimated where data is not available.
FY22 data was updated in November 2022. Data was not available at the time of the initial release of the FY22 ESG Data Centre on 19 August 2022.
