In FY22 the program was extended to provide funding to other initiatives beyond solar panels such as batteries and electric vehicle charging stations as well as supporting community education about renewable technologies.

Notes
The Powering our Community Solar Fund was launched in FY19, initially focusing on increasing rooftop solar installation for local community groups. In FY22 the program was broadened to include electric vehicle charging stations, batteries and community education initiatives.
