Online sales volumes
Online sales volumes have increased 25.5% year-on-year. Increasing wholesale prices in May and June saw an increase in online sales, which was driven by customer movements to AGL from Tier 2 and 3 retailers. Despite a challenging period impacted by COVID-19 shutdowns and a multi-channel approach to energy product incentives, online energy sales volume contribution increased, moving from 18.6% to 22.8% of total AGL sales in FY22.

Metric includes Website and Webchat volume, for residential and small business energy customers. Online sales volumes include new acquisitions as well as retentions (inclusive of movers and product swaps).
